Veni Markovski | Internet pioneer & cybersecurity expert

Veni Markovski is a pioneer for Internet and information technology from Bulgaria. He is currently ICANN‘s Vice President for Stakeholder Engagement for Russia, The Commonwealth of Independent States, and Eastern Europe. He was a Director on ICANN’s Board from 2006 to 2007. He is also the Owner and CEO of Global Solutions and Consulting, and has provided his expertise to several Bulgarian Parliaments.

In 2003 he ran for mayor of Sofia.

Lauren Worley is a communication expert known as an insightful, fearless and tireless champion of positive change. She transitioned from the world of political messaging to conveying the wonders of the universe as the Press Secretary at NASA. After completing his PhD in Los Angeles, Eric moved out to DC to take a position with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where he is currently employed.

While living in Buenos Aires Robb Duncan and his wife Violeta became enamored with the tradition of old world gelato. Despite being trained in engineering and software, Robb was inspired to bring a better product than traditional American ice cream back to the States. Using his inexperience to his benefit, Robb embraced innovation and trial and error and opened Dolcezza in 2004. Since then he has “claimed a spot among the country’s top artisanal ice cream makers,” according to the Wall Street Journal.

In the summer of 2012, TableTribes launched a nine week pilot Picnic Series.
