ABOUT TABLETRIBES

It’s a fundamental human need to feel like we’re relevant, that someone understands us, that we’re not alone. Every now and then, we’re lucky enough to come into contact with someone who inspires us to be our best selves, or opens up our eyes to alternative possibilities. Real relationships have the power to transform. But how do we make it easier to find likeminded people?

TableTribes uses food and drink to create meaningful moments of serendipity.

Our approach includes a web/mobile platform that people can use for daily engagement (currently in product development) and a collaborative special event/micro-conference framework to bring together larger groups and communities.

ABOUT TABLETRIBES PICNICS

Benjamin Franklin understood that amazing things begin to happen when big-thinkers gather to exchange ideas through freewheeling conversation in informal settings. TableTribes Picnics are independently organized by local Planning Committees who use our collaborative framework to bring different perspectives together around food, drink, and a universally human topic selected out of a fortune cookie.

Started in Washington DC, past participants include leaders and passionate knowledge-seekers in the arts, media, design, science, music, food, education, politics, religion, business, academia, and technology. Groups around the country are beginning to host their own.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis, and limited to a maximum of 35 people per event. Register to attend.
